I met with some photographer friends last week to shoot the full moon rising over Seattle. We met in Alki in West Seattle to find the best angles. I wasn’t certain the exact spot the moon would pop up and kept second guessing myself, based On what I could glean from my phone apps. Once it became clear where the moon would show (based on some clouds lighting up) we took our positions.
This shot is a little bit hdr and a little bit composite work. Even in my hdr shot the moon was overexposed, so I popped in a moon from later in the evening.
